Having graduated from Oxford University before studying classical acting at LAMDA, Debra is an experienced and versatile actress, writer and stand-up comedian.

Debra played Jessica in The Merchant of Venice - the stage tour with the English Shakespeare Company. She has also played the ‘thin’ girl in Fat Friends (ITV) and soon after secured a comic part in the romantic comedy, Suzie Gold.

More recently, she has been on London’s comedy circuit doing stand up and recently performed her own one woman show, POP, POP, POP, which she also wrote, about a pregnant X-Factor reject who believes Olly Murs to be the father of her unborn child.

Along with her co-writer, Claudia Solti, Debra wrote the film, That’s For Me, a spoof documentary about a wannabe delusional actress in which she also played the lead which was screened at film festivals across the world. Debra has also penned another feature film, loosely based on Midsummer Night’s Dream, called Dream On, which is currently in production.

She has just finished performing another self-penned musical comedy as part of the Camden Fringe Theatre Festival, called A Mancunian Rhapsody and is taking it on tour for 2015.
