Ladybird Books: The Rabbit Who Wants To Fall Asleep
The Rabbit Who Wants To Fall Asleep is a sleep aid aimed at parents with children who can’t get to sleep on a night.
We found a cast of two UK and two US parents. We gave each of them a camera, a copy of the book and left them for five days. The results were remarkable, the book worked on all four children, we shot extra footage to help with the films narrative, then went into an edit.
The video content was cut into two parts. With an extra layer of quality post-production and motion graphics, the campaign was ready for launch.
We designed and managed the UK’s socially led distribution strategy. The videos were placed on Ladybird’s YouTube channel with a Twitter campaign to encourage views. Using Facebook insight data a well targeted native Facebook campaign was created. In just one week the video received over 150,000 views with a 1.5% click through rate to view and buy the book on Amazon.
