The Sun: The Dan Wootton Interview

The Sun’s Associate Editor Dan Wootton has launched a weekly podcast called The Dan Wootton Interview, featuring world exclusive interviews from the world’s biggest stars and produced by independent content production, talent management and post production company, Wisebuddah.

Each week Bizarre editor Dan Wootton – the UK’s best-known showbiz columnist – will interview an A-lister from the entertainment world and allow fans to hear their favourite stars speak candidly about their lives and careers.

One Direction superstar Niall Horan was the first guest and gave his most in-depth solo interview ever. For the first time, Niall revealed the reasons behind his decision to walk away from his X Factor mentor and former record label boss Simon Cowell.

Wisebuddah has been commissioned to produce each episode of the podcast and the music has been produced by Wisebuddah’s sister company No Sheet Music.

Clare Chadburn, Head of Development at Wisebuddah, said: “Dan is such a fantastic personality and also a huge podcast fan. He really gets the personal nature of audio and the show will bring you closer than ever to your favourite celebrities. Alongside our work for traditional broadcast networks, Wisebuddah is building a strong reputation for producing high quality, high profile podcasts and we are thrilled to be working with Bizarre to produce this brand new show.”

Explaining his decision to launch The Dan Wootton Interview podcast, Dan said: “One of the best things about my job is the sometimes emotional, sometimes extraordinary and very often funny encounters I have interviewing the world’s biggest stars for my Bizarre column in The Sun. But until now you’ve never been able to hear what’s really gone on. That’s why I’ve decided to launch the podcast – where each week we go in-depth with one of the world’s biggest stars.”
