Presenter of Radio 1's Monday night In New Music We Trust, Radio 2's Wednesday evenings 11.30pm-12.30pm and BBC 6Music's Weekdays 4-7pm.

Steve is a trusted pioneer of British new music from the discovery of Brit-pop to the present day, Steve presented the legendary Evening Session for a decade before hosting Lamacq Live. Steve also hosted his very own show mixing his other passion, Football, in Rock n Roll FA Cup for BBC 5Live. He is also a trained journalist and author of his autobiographical book, 'Going Deaf for a Living'.

Steve has a fantastic and very distinctive voice. He always speaks with authority and has the warmth and vigour that makes his voice really stand out. He's recently voiced commercials for Air Traffic, Athlete, Babyshambles, The Dykeenies and The Pidgeon Detectives.
