Wise Buddah secure a host of Sony Nominations
Wise Buddah is celebrating several nominations for this years Sony Radio Academy Awards.
Wise Buddah Talent and Radio 1’s very own Scott Mills will defend his 2006 Sony Gold for the Interactive Programme Award category.
Radio 2, Radio 1 and 6 Music's Steve Lamacq is head to head with colleagues Jo Whiley and Colin Murray in the Music Broadcaster of the Year category for his BBC 6Music Show.
WB Talent also picked up a nomination in the new Internet Programme Award category for our in house production of the Firin Squad’s Unsigned Podcast. Other Wise Buddah artists, Yannick Lawry helped Gaydar Radio achieve a Digital Terrestrial Station of the Year nomination, and Christian Stevenson and Tim Warwood played their part in securing a Best Station nomination for Kerrang! Radio.
Wise Buddah Jingles and Music Imaging received their first nomination for Station Sound via its client station 96.3 Radio Aire with a re sing of the Contemporary Cuts package.
Wise Buddah Programming also received nominations in the Music Special Award category for it's production of specials on Rod Temperton and Phil Lynott for BBC Radio 2.
The winners will be announced at the 25th Anniversary Sony Awards on April 30th at the Grosvenor Hotel, London. For those keen to listen in, WB Talent’s Kevin Greening will be hosting a live web cast from the ceremony with from the floor updates from WB talent stable mate Nick Wallis.
