Ben Jones is well known throughout the country as part of the on air line up at national radio station Absolute Radio (formerly Virgin Radio). He's also the TV continuity voice of WATCH, UKTV’s new entertainment channel.
A very well respected voice artiste Ben is regularly heard voicing commercials and continuity on both TV and Radio. Most recent credits include Torri Amos, Chivas Whiskey, Guns'N'Roses Greatest Hits and the Stereophonics. He was also the popular voice of HMV’s famous advertising and the VH1 Top 20 Charts (also shown on TMF).
He’s a great communicator and so naturally a popular TV continuity voice with a comfortable and compelling style. This has led to Ben working with some of the biggest broadcasters in the UK including continuity for flagship channels SKY1 and WATCH. He’s a very competent and creative writer/announcer with a wealth of experience.
Ben launched his Most Wanted show on Absolute Radio at the start of 2004 and it’s been a massive hit for the station ever since. Every weekday he indulges himself in live sessions, interviews and the best new music around. As the show’s popularity has increased Ben has been busy entertaining many of music’s biggest acts. He’s interviewed everyone from The Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Scissor Sisters, REM, David Bowie and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
